Creeper (2012)

Mean web-cam girls bully a mentally unfit pervert - and things go south in a hurry.

Erica (Monica Chambers) is tired of being abused by internet creeps. It's time to turn the tables, and start inflicting abuse upon one of them for a change.

Her friend Cally (Rohnja Morrow) is reticent to go along with it at first. "Just let it drift, Erica. Guys are pervs. Always have been and always will be."

Dana (Brittney Cardella) finds the perfect candidate for their little game.

Jerry (Darryl Baldwin) is a mentally handicapped pervert who seems willing to put himself through any form of degradation they can dream up.

Cally watches as Heather (Tara Dane) takes the reigns. She says she knows how to "work their brains" the best.

Heather is delighted with herself as she's able to string along and manipulate the creep.

Cally can't believe this guy is going along with it. She says, "This guy is a retard."

Dana takes her turn and kicks things up a notch by getting Jerry to shave his pubes.

As a reward, Dana says it's time to show Jerry their boobs.

Cally, Dana and Heather have a good laugh. It's all fun and games now.

Queen bitch Erica arrives.

Cally eagerly shows Erica the creep they've found.

They goad Jerry into tazering himself.

As the days go by, Cally and Erica get more and more carried away, having Jerry doing increasingly humiliating tasks. After a particularly invigorating round and many drinks, they decide to take things to the edge.

To entice Jerry to take things further, Cally, Dana and Heather provide him with a view of them taking a shower.

They tell Jerry to drink alcohol in the park and wait for them to get there.

The girls even give him the full monty. Cally on the left, Heather in the middle, and Dana on the right.

Cally and Erica show up at the park and beat the shit out of Jerry. After a relentless beat down, the girls laugh as they leave him bleeding.

Erica and Cally go to the police and accuse Jerry of rape. They also post the pictures of him degrading himself all over the internet. His life is officially ruined.

One year later, Heather is getting ready in the bathroom.

As she undresses we can see that Jerry is actually lurking in the background, standing in the shower motionless.

Heather sets aside some towels, completely oblivious to Jerry being just a few feet away.

She steps into the shower.

Jerry grabs Heather from behind and stuffs a rag over her face, knocking her out.

When Heather wakes up, she's naked in a cage in the middle of the Everglades.

A zip line drags the cage underwater, but Heather is able to crawl out and make it to the shore.

Heather looks off into the swamp and realizes she's being hunted. She runs as fast as she can.

After a time, Heather can run no longer. She is completley lost, and ambles down a rutted clearing.

Jerry leaves her a tank top with the words "My Friend" on the front. He has also left signs to direct her a certain route.

Heather is horrified to find Dana tied to a tree naked and covered in blood. She appears to be dead.

Dana suddenly wakes up. Heather rushes to untie her.

There's another tank top at the base of the tree. This one is labled "Like Me".

Heather and Dana find Cally naked and burried in the sand up to her neck. They pull her free.

Cally puts on her tank top and finds a computer/tablet strategically placed nearby. Dana and Heather are nervous about messing with it. It turns out they were right to be worried as it triggers explosives below their feet. Both are killed.

Cally is blown back, but she survives.

Cally runs for her life and is shocked to bump into a dude (Ryan Charles) hiking the Everglades. He offers to take to his campsite then lead her out of here.

At the campsite, the hiker's girlfriend (Caitlin Bond) wakes up and gets out of the tent naked.

She finds a note from her boyfriend that he's gone to pick wild berries and will be back soon.

Little does she know, Jerry has just killed her boyfriend and is now chasing after Cally.

The girlfriend goes for a swim.

Jerry is about to shoot Cally, but the girlfriend ends up taking the bullet instead.

Jerry has Erica tied to chair; she's knocked out and naked.

Jerry forcefully wakes Erica up and pulls her out of the chair.

He handcuffs Erica to a tree and whips her.

Cally jumps Jerry from behind and stabs him in the neck.

Cally digs the keys from Jerry's pockets and is able to undo the handcuffs. Erica, covered in excrement, runs with Cally to the jeep.

Suddenly, Erica makes a last second decision to run to Jerry's body and start kicking and punching him.

The girls aren't able to get the jeep to start and Jerry is back up.

Erica finds some clothes and makes a break for it into the woods with Cally.

For a moment it seems that the girls have the upper hand, but Jerry is able to knock both of them out.

Jerry drives the jeep tied to Erica, which splits her in half. Cally is then hung.THE END

VZ6 SCORECARD

It's pretty unusual for a film to go this hard with sleaze these days.  This is the type of movie that you'd expect to find some nudity, but not nonstop full frontal.  Add to that, it's executed pretty well; doesn't seem too low budget and skillfuly shot. In the seventies you had an endless supply of movies like this - with problematic material, gobs of nudity and violence on a shoestring budget, but still managing to be well put together. It's biggest downside is the faux film damage which hasn't aged well, and just looks lame today. 

Kinda wild that this is the only IMDb credit for Monica Chambers.  Imagine your only film role has you completely naked for like a quarter of the film and covered in shit.  Got to give it up for Chambers who definitely went all in for her only acting role.  I wonder what she's doing now.

Tara Dane delivers this incredible FFN scene as she walks toward the camera across a field in the Everglades. She started out modeling and appeared in Disney commercials.  She became embedded in the Florida movie scene where she first made an independent short called Fort Slaughterdale.  After Creeper she did a web series (another FL based production) called Amber in the Shadows where she played an Elvira type character.  She went on to star in Vicarious (2014) which is a feature length version of the web series Florida in the Shadows. She posed for Playboy under the name Amber Sym.  Under that name she appeared in dozens of "Playboy Plus" photo sets.

From a Playboy Plus biography: "Originally from Howell, Michigan, Amber knew that she wanted more from life than a small town had to offer. “I was a loner in high school,” she says. “Not a lot of friends. Everyone ended up doing the same thing every day. I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life, and seeing other people get stuck in ruts made me want to go out and try everything. It gave me the motivation to do something – anything – different."

From an Alien Bee interview: "I got into acting when I moved to Orlando, didn’t know anyone, didn’t have a job, and needed something fun to do. I started off working on a commercials, music videos, and doing extra work here and there. After a while I got to meeting more people in the industry, booking more jobs, and now I barely have any down time!"

I find it very interesting that the always naked girlfriend, Caitlin Bond, only has one other IMDb credit (aside from a short).  It's for the role of Tulip in an episode of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel in 2024!

Rohnja Morrow, who played Cally, is actually the executive producer of this film.  Pretty wild to have the executive producer providing multiple nude scenes, including full frontal (in the shower as well as being pulled out of the Everglades mud).

Overall, you might dismiss this as just garbage - a poor excuse to show actresses naked and getting abused.  But it comes from a decades long tradition of ultra sleazy shitshows, and I'm glad to find the torch is still burning in 2012.
