Chloroformed And Cloned Co-Ed (1998)

Tina Krause is cloned after an accidental death. Her twisted boyfriend is happy to have a multitude of copies of her so he can kill her over and over again.

Suzy Johnson (Tina Krause) is upset that her boyfriend can't seem to get aroused, and she's taking it personally.

She tries to turn him on by taking off some of her clothes. The boyfriend seems to think it's working. She says, "Well, thank god, hallejulia, something does it for you."

Suzy takes off her bra and lets her hair down, only to find the boyfriend is on the phone. She is about to throw in the towel.

Suzy yells, "You idiot! What do you want me to do?" The boyfriend stutters that they need something different, something new to their relationship.

He meekly asks, "How about chloroform?" You can tell he's been thinking about this the whole time.

Suzy thinks that's great. But she thinks he means Colorforms. He corrcts her. "Not Colorform. C-c-chloroform... you know, you put it over your face and it makes you sleepy, and it can knock you out or something like that."

"You know, I get a nice clean white rag, and I put the chloroform on it, and I just kinda put it over your face." Suzy doesn't quite know what to think. "I mean, I guess.... it's not going to hurt?" The boyfriend promises it won't.

The boyfriend pours a little onto a cloth and says nervously, "Just a little bit. It just takes a little bit, y'know."

The boyfriend then delivers another curveball to Suzy. He wants to wear a mask, and he's invited his two loser friends Nate and Ziggy over to watch!

The boyfriend finally puts the chloroform soaked rag on her face.

But doesn't go nearly as the boyfriend hoped. Suzy struggles, writhing and flayling her arms - but she doesn't seem to be getting knocked out. The boyfriend asks Ziggy for some more chloroform.

It still doesn't work. As Suzy gasps for air, she sputters, "Are you turned on yet?" The boyfriend gives up.

Afterwards, Suzy happily takes a bath.

The boyfriend comes in and offers to warm up her bath using jumper cables connected to a car battery.

Suzy is electrocuted. She flails and tosses wildly in the tub.

The boyfriend removes the jumper cables, but it's too late. Suzy is dead.

The boyfriend is upset. Despite clues to the contrary, it does seem that this wasn't intentional.

The boyfriend brings Suzy's body to a deranged medical student who is operating in a dimly lit shed. He says "I was innocently chloroforming her and electrocuting her and she died."

The mad doctor tries to confirm she's dead by shouting and trying to scare her. Needless to say, she doesn't wake up.

The doctor says he'll work on her if the boyfriend pays him for it. He agrees, and asks if the doctor will take some picture of him with Suzy for his scrapbook.

The boyfriend says he's destitute that he won't have Suzy around to chloroform and strangle any more. But the doctor offers him the opportunity to have the ability to kill Suzy over and over again and again - via cloning. At the The Lawrence Cloning Facility Suzy's body is put into a metallic cloning chamber.

A perfect clone of Suzy is created.

In fact, several clones of Suzy emerge from the chamber. The Lawrence Cloning Facility has cloned her her sixteen times. The boyfriend is excited that he'll have so many copies of Suzy to murder for his kinky pleasure. He asks if he can order some more later. "I know I'm gonna go through them like that (snaps fingers)."

The boyfriend brings all sixteen clones home with him. Each one seems to have different personality.

The boyfriend suffocates the clone with a pillow.

With this clone dead, the boyfriend says, "One down, fifteen to go."

Ivan the necrophiliac sneaks into the boyfriend's house. He stumbles upon the dead body of the suffocated clone in the bedroom.

Ivan picks up the dead clone's body and starts dancing around with it like a total sicko.

The boyfriend comes home and catches Ivan with the dead clone. He orders him put her down.

In the other room the remaining Suzy clones congregate. The spunky one jumps and twirls her hair.

Apparently Suzy worked as an Avon lady, and the clones continue at her job. One of the clones visits Ivan's home to demonstrate the Avon products.

Like every guy in this film, the German is a pervert. He sprays her in the face with ether. The Suzy clone is immediately knocked out.

The clone slumps into the couch unconscious.

Ivan then pulls down her dress and gets it all on video tape.

Ivan receives a visit from another Avon lady, and is surprised to find her the spitting image of the woman he just knocked out.

He knocks the clone out, but then when another clone arrives, Ivan freaks out and strangles her to death.

The boyfriend and the mad doctor eventually track the clones down to Ivan's place. Because they're all disturbed individuals, they decide to video tape Ivan with the dead clone and basically throw a party.

VZ6 SCORECARD

Well, no doubt it's a demented little film.  I will say that it is done with campy flair, so it isn't as dark and disturbing as you might think.  Certainly its main selling point is constant nudity from Tina Krause, and it checks a lot of boxes for kinks.  It seems like they had a good time making it, and it is enjoyable as a kinky curiousity from the days when you could order your trashy zero budget movies from catalogs. Not the sort of VHS you'd stack proudly on the shelf next to Jerry McGuire and The Bounty; more the type to keep in a brown paper wrapper stored in the back of the closet of your extra room.

Let's give it up for Tina Krause who spends the duration of this film naked.  A quote from IMDb on being nude on film:

"It's nerve wrecking at first, heck, for anyone. Think about it: "Hey, can you drop your clothes so the whole world can see your goods and of course make comments about ya. No sweat right? We are all gonna stare at you for a couple hours just so you feel that much more uneasy while everyone is dressed. I think that sums up what it feels like at first, but after a while you basically don't really give a shit."

Tina Krause is electrocuted and strangled multiple times, manhandled while dead, chloroformed, gassed... the actress went through the ringer in this film, and I'm sure she was paid pennies for the job. And this wasn't her first film - Krause had been at it for four years prior.  Props for sticking with it - because it paid off, with over a hundred credits to her name and a busy career that spanned a couple decades.

☆☆☆☆☆☆ 6/10
